Mana Island
Vision
To restore the vegetation and habitat of the Island to a similar environment to that existing prior to human intervention on the Island. As the environment improves so does the opportunity for re-locating endangered species from the mainland.

2.5 km offshore, west of Titahi Bay.

Management history
Mice eradicated between 1989 and 1991. By 2002, 350000 trees had been replanted on the previously farmed island. Several species of birds and reptiles have been translocated to the island.
